Tabata or Snider?

I have a chance in my keeper fantasy league with fairly deep rosters to trade from a position of depth for me for one of these two studly hitters. Who would you rather have? Remember, defense does not count - this is fantasy.

He will probably come close to hitting as well and he adds speed something Snider will lose in the future.

I think Snider is a better bet to hit well for a corner outfielder.

Tabata's a very polished hitter given his age, but he doesn't lift many balls his swing leads to a lot of opposite field singles and doubles. I just don't see him becoming a slugger. Snider, on the other hand, is as talented as Tabata but he's bigger and what we've seen from him so far suggests he has a higher probability of becoming a 30+ home run threat.

The interesting thing here...

Is that both will likely make their MLB debuts at the same time - sometime in 2009. That is what is so intriguing with the pair in my mind.

I think I can't go wrong with either one, but have been leaning towards Snider slightly.

i think travis is a better bet for power. tabata might steal some bases early in his career, but i don't think it makes up for snider's higher power potential.
