Mistake?

PrintI recently traded Tim Lincecum in my NL-Only Keeper league for Chase Utley because I needed the offense. Was this a major mistake? I'm kinda panicking right now, thinking I've erred greatly.
To keep in mind, I have a chance to retain Utley for the 2008 season as well. All input would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Just like a similar deal I made...
If you're team is in contention this year, a move like that is worth it. Better to go for broke and win than never make a move and never win.
