Hi guys,

Honestly, it's risen to the level of piling on lately, to the point where it genuinely detracts from my enjoyment of this site.  I can ignore diaries where I dislike the whole topic...but if i am reading thru a Lincecum post and suddenly someone is saying something horribly rude about Bravesin07, I can't unread the message.

I find Bravesin07 to make some posts that don't seem well thought out or defensible, but at this poiint we all know it, recognize it, and should get over it.  No big deal.  And certainly no need to exhibit a kind of meanness that calls up some sort of "Lord of the Flies" meets Minor League Blog.  Scan through a few threads lately and tell me if you don't see one.

Worse, it seems like it's also given license to a lot of other name-calling among other parties lately.  I'd hate to see this become another Fantasy Baseball Cafe, where the average level of discourse is much lower and the level of invective much higher.
