PrintIs his work this year in Durham, wait for it, "for real?"
He certainly seems like he's turned things around after a mediocre-to-bad '06 after being looked at as a workhorse/#3 coming up in '05 ... anyone seen him this seaon or have any thoughts?

He's pitching lower in the zone again this year. The work with Xavier Hernandez has done him wonders, both times.

Yep...
and even if it isn't, the D-Rays should be finding out soon enough.
He's got one of the best arms in that system. He's one of the few guys the DRays have had who impressed me.
Of course...Doug Waechter a few years back impressed me.

Last year his stuff was as good as ever. I saw him hit 98 a couple times and his curve was very good when he commanded it. But he was living up in the zone. His control wasn't bad at all in AAA or the majors, his command within the zone wasn't good at all.
