Trevor Plouffe

Does anyone think he may have turned the corner?  From the reports I've read he has always hit the ball hard and now that he has moved up to AA he has started out really well offensively.  I haven't heard anything about his errors so I don't know how he has done on defense.  I do think he has played both SS and 3B this year and I wonder where he projects at this point.

Hopefully the Twins have gotten a solid 1st rounder because their track record stinks.

hmm
There was a threat title trevor plouffe just posted yesterday...but you probably missed it no big deal.

Yes i do think he has turned the corner.  In his short history he has started slow and finished strong.  This year he's putting it all together, doesn't K much, good discipline and is showing some power.

Short answer - I think so. Good set of secondary offensive skills and mostly just needed to get older and adjust to the level of competition.

He's good enough defensively to be a very respectable, possibly above-average shortstop. Mostly they're just playing him at third to increase his versatility and to take advantage of his strong arm. If he continues to make progress offensively, in a couple of years it'll also allow the Twins to give him a better chance of filling an opening in the lineup.

If nothing else, should at least be a utility guy in the majors.
