Clement will at least make it to the majors, Hernandez is at least 3 years away.

youre admittedly impatient but you'd rather dump a AAA prospect for a kid who was in the GCL last year?

I wouldn't say I'm impatient. Clement is struggling big time and the everything I read about Gorkys seems to be really nice.
He's got the highest ceiling in the Tigers farm system (besides Mabyin obviously)
I'm just seeing what others would do in my situation. No need to be all testy/condescending.

to be. I just thought i might be helpful to be aware of your own shortcomings. I know i can be impatient too so i was thinking of what I'd do if i were you and i know id try to temper my expectations for Gorkys knowing that Clement was even more billed than him and he is struggling (though still a fine prospect in my book). I'd be afraid that I'd jettison Clement, pick up Gorkys and then in a few years get impatient w Gorkys and cut him loose too.

That's a pretty good point. It's just so frustrating to see someone with such promise be a victim of his team's stupid decisions (putting him in AAA after knee surgery, etc).

i feel your pain. but i also will say this: if you don't want your fantasy prospects rushed through the minors like there's no tomorrow, then don't draft mariners farmhands.
