Huge Surprise.

Rich Harden leaves in the 7th inning, looks like it may be an arm injury, possibly his shoulder. I am beginning to think he will never have a full season without a trip to the DL.

I know most people are not high on Zito, but at least he gave the A's 200+ IP every year. I would much rather have 200 Zito innings than 50 Harden innings and 150 fill in innings from guys who should be in AAA.

AL's version of Mark Prior/Kerry Wood
Will never live up to expectations due to arm trouble.

agreed
Exxcept when he is on the Mound he dominates, can't say the same for wood and prior over the last few years

Uhh...
Wood and Prior did dominate when on the mound.  Harden seems to be going the same way which is what I believe he was trying to say.  What a shame.  As a Cub fan I've learned that if it's too good to be true - it probably is.

o ya
They DID, not recently. Their injuries have been devastating to the point in where their comebacks haven't been successful is what i really meant. I saw Prior coming back last year against the Mets and John Maine last season and was shocked about how unelectric his stuff was. Yes they DID dominate but not recently.

One day
hope they pulled him just in case.  It did not look to bad... but it is Harden.  I just want him to win the CY Young the next 5 years in a row as he is on my fantasy team :)

Good News?
Harden himself said it was not serious and does not expect to miss any time.
