I am two things, eternally optimistic and hopelessly devoted to the Minnesota Twins. Both took a huge hit today when Matt Garza was assigned to Rochester in favor of Carlos Silva. The fact that Silva has looked hopeless for the better part of 2 years must not have much bearing when it comes to the brass in Minnesota and now I am thinking whether the rotation 1-5 in Rochester is actually better than the rotation that will call the Metrodome home to start this season. This might actually be worse than last years snub of Jason Bartlett in favor of Juan Disastro. For all of Terry Ryan's accolades I cannot begin to fathom what goes through his mind during this time of the year.
