Need Help with NL Only Draft

One rookie slot available, and it's at #22. Can you tell me if I'm crazy? I can only select one.

Here's my list to draft from. All of the usual suspects are taken. Frankly, I don't trust pitchers, so very few make my top 22.

What kind of league is it?

I imagine it's a keeper league, but still, I would put Gallardo in front of Martinez, as he is much closer to the majors, and could help you sooner.

guys like Laroche/Humber/Pelfrey/Pie are taken, so I'd go with

Just on your list, here is what I would do...

If Lincecum is there at 22...Jump at it!

Unless Gallardo is there too then, think about it for a while and , take Lincecum!

Mccutchen...good

Pence...good both will pllay this year at some point and be good big leaguers

Bruce also but not until next year maybe.

Dont waste time on Stubbs (especially), Burris, Young Jr., Hunter, Villalona ( might not be alive when/ if he makes the big leagues)

Good List

Don't be afraid to take the top pitchers if that's all that's left. I'd much rather have Gallardo or Lincecum over a guy in Rookie ball or even low A. They're just as much a crap shoot as any pitcher. Also I think Koshansky and DeWitt are too high. You could probably leave them off the list altoghether.

BTW, that's Neil Walker of the Pirates, right? I'd put Lillibridge, Gomez, Kershaw, Patterson, Fowler and Walker all ahead of DeWitt & Koshansky too.
