Ambiorix Concepcion

i used to hear really great things about this guy.  maybe not lastings milledge/fernando martinez level, but high ceiling talk, nonetheless.

now i don't hear anything at all.  is he a viable prospect now?  what's the best case sceneario for the mets with him?  does he have the tools to make it to the majors, or will just stay off the radar for good?

well
hes been in the majors for two years, so he really isn't a prospect at all.

He throws basically, too hard, to be an effective reliever at this point. Maybe he can get it down and harness his stuff, but he's really young, so I imagine he could struggle with it at times.

Ambiorix
He basically had two disappointing years back to back and THEN they found out he's actually 2 years older than he claimed.  So, instead of a 22 year old playing AA, he's closer to 24.

He's got power and speed and, from what I hear, a great arm.  But he's never been able to hit consistently and now that he's much older (prospectwise) he isn't as desirable.

he has a
cannon of an arm. He'll at least be a 4th OF.

Discipline
He strikes out like its his job, and doesn't really have the pop to make up for it.  I see a Ruben Rivera clone (Reyes better keep an eye on his glove).
