LAST CALL - TOP 50/100
I'll be busy with work pretty much the next few days, so I won't have too much time the rest of the week to finish compiling the top 50/100 list. If you ant your list included in the first edition - have it to me by early afternoon this Saturday. You can always send one in after that and/or update your list after that, but it probably won't make the intial list... Any questions, let me know...

Just my opinion...
Maybin, Kershaw and Bailey all seem too high to me.

Nobody
As far as Kershaw, I have seen him and , if I were drafting prospects I would likely take him second as well.
Maybin #1 is interesting to me. Personally I think LaPorta is the next Burrell... actually better and he could do it from ther jump in the big leagues IMO.
My opinion on Maybin is he has everything you'd want in a prospect EXCEPT a great bat which is kinda the most important thing. Andruw Jones was never a great hitter either and he was a #1 prospect or close.. Maybin can chase flies like Andruw I'll tell ya.

crimson
well, no, i have some semblance of a 'formula'...well, not formula, thats not a good word, as that's mostly what i tend to stay away from compared to most. i'd guess its more of a 'method'...
and i hit and miss just like any person who guesses on prospects would... its just a different style that i employ.

I don't like him as much as Dave

Oh
We all have our biases. I like McGee more than Kershaw. Very few agree with me, but that's my opinion. I'm not doing a list, but the point of them is to stimulate discussion, not to rip people because you don't like this guy as much as he does.

excellent posts
also, because i have very few biases....the only 'bias' i really have is my gut. and that im a strongly visual-oriented person....but that's one of my strengths...take it for what its worth

hmm
i think we can all agree that the order of the list is not one many of us can agree with. however if it's a list that takes upside as a major factor (as opposed to how we think their careers will turn out) then i think the rankings are fair.
i'm interested to learn where f-mart, big v and clay were ranked.
