which pitching prospect is better in the long run?

adenhart or scherzer? i know there has been a lot of talk about scherzer being moved to the pen. or has that changed and i didnt hear it?

something rubs me wrong about adenhart
statistically, i like everything about him.  the fact that he lost a year to an arm injury doesn't bother me.  i don't much like the way that LAA handles their young pitchers, and i think that will hurt adenhart over the long run.

i don't know if that's enough impetus to prefer scherzer, because i really do like adenhart's performance, but oftentimes organization philosophy has more of an impact on a pitcher's success than a pitcher's raw talent.

I needed a good laugh after all the angst on these boards lately.

hmm
As a person who is not a big fan of either pitching prospects, I am going to choose Adenhart because I feel Scherzer's elbow is going to explode at any given moment.

His motion and the amount of torque he puts on his elbow really scares me. I also think Adenhart has more quality pitches.

Neither pitchers are A prospects though.

Like Scherzer
I really like Max mechanically, I think he has a very repeatable delivery.  I think he his fastball/slider combo is nice.

Its a story I've told before but I watched this kid pitch for Missouri at Nebraska and with a base open early in the ballgame drilled Alex Gordon in the back.  The place went apeshit but I thought to myself that kid has balls.  Gordon proceeded to go hitless.
