PrintAccording to TSN, Joe Torre agreed to deal in principle. 3 years, $14.5 MM. Apparently bringing Bowa, Mattingly, Mazzilli and Cardenal.
It'll be interesting to see how he uses a lineup with Furcal and Pierre and not a ton of power.

No, he was merely offered the 3B coach job
And said he wanted to wait to see how some things played out. Thank god he didn't. I just know that if/when McLaren fails that Bowa would have been his replacement.
