Fantasy Help (Sorry)

Hello everybody. I first want to apologize for posting this, but I have hit a wall and basically my answers are split.

But anyway, I was recently offered a trade in a dynasty (full roster keeper) league, and am really torn.

Basically, the deal is:

A) Chris Capuano, Miguel Montero
for
B) Wilson Betemit, Jose Contreras

I would be receiving side A. I like the deal because I get younger at SP, and get a replacement for my catcher (LoDuca). However, I dislike the trade because I give up Betemit (I also have Aram), who I feel could be a big contributor this season.

So, my obvious question to you all, should I take it? Once again, sorry for the fantasy post, but I really appreciate any help I get.

A overwhelmingly.....
Betemit might not have a full time gig and Contreas is close to done.  Cappy's quietly becoming one of the best pitchers in baseball.

Cappy is solid...
but nowhere near becoming one of the best pitchers in baseball.

well
It depends on what you mean by "best pitchers in baseball".  For example, it's almost inarguable that Capuano is one of the 500 best pitchers in baseball.

NL?
You meant top 500 NL pitchers right?

I would say....
I'd rank Cappy in the top 20 fantasy pitchers.  He had a rough September so his ERA didn't end up as low as should have been, but he was completely solid until then. The Brewers were decimated offensively as they traded away Lee and lost Weeks and Hardy for the season.  A borderline .500 team that lost three key components.  I look for Cappy to improve on this line from last year:

11 wins
4.03 ERA
174 Ks in 221 innings.
1.25 WHIP

I'm not saying he belongs in elite company, I'm just saying that he's good and gets overlooked by a lot of fantasy players because he plays in Milwaukee.

I think this is a solid trade.

Just look at it as
Capuano for Betemit.  Contreras won't have much of a contribution going forward anyway, and I'm not sure that Montero will be a fantasy beast (I suspect he'll put up numbers similar to Jojima, maybe a little less).  Still, if you already have Aramis, Capuano over Betemit is a no-brainer.

Agreed
Contreras only has a couple more decent years in that arm, and Montero will likely end up a decent but not great C option.

What really swings this trade IMO is Betemit's lack of a guaranteed lineup spot.  He's no lock to start at 3B, as Andy LaRoche seems like he might be ready to be a full-time player this year (assuming his shoulder is healthy).
