Around SBN: Fighters React to Nick Diaz's Positive Drug Test

Welcome Back Matt Fox.

Just want to note that Matthew Fox is back pitching in the Twins organzation after missing last year with arm troubles.  He was the pitcher I had the most hope for out of the Twins 2004 draft class.  This class also included Glen Perkins, Kyle Waldrop, Jay Rainville, Anthony Swarzak, and Eduardo Morlan.  He has pitched 9 2/3 IP so far with 13 K's at Rookie Level Elizabethon.

Here's hoping he stays healthy and gets back on track to becoming a nice pitching prospect.

A Twins post that doesn't include Garza, Slowey, Morneau or Liraino didn't think it could happen.

Morlan is my favorite sleeper.
Is there something wrong with Morlan? He hasn't pitched lately. I agree on his talent. He has a chance to be very good.

Morlan
I'm pretty sure he had a minor strain injury in his neck in his last start.

The rumours from Florida is that his fastball was in the mid-80's this spring. Anyone hear whether he is doing better than that at Elizabeton? This is a guy who is very old for the league. He was a polished college pitcher who ought to be pitching at AA by now. Its good that he is back, but he still has a long ways to go even to catch up to where he was when he was drafted.
