Chad Billingsley
i am wondering why this guy walks so much... his BB/K ratio thruout his minor league track record wasnt nearly this bad. he's had a good number of starts now and he's still walking more then he is k'ing batters.
for a pitcher pitching as well as he did in the PCL with the added remarks of being up there with Liriano and Verlander i must say i am somewhat disapointed with his performance. from some scouting reviews i read he was suppose to have this incredible mound presence, which i have yet to see so far as well.
what can this be attributed to or was Billingsley highly over rated as a prospect?

patience
I'm not worried
is there
any stats out there that indicate Billingsley first 50-60 IP with that bad a BB/K ratio to have future success tho?
i can not recall off the top of my head who started out as badly as he has in this area maybe aside of Unit who wasnt nearly this bad himself?
what gets me tho is he wasnt like this in the minors either.
with all the walks
As a Dodger fan, I am honestly not really that worried. We arent going anywhere this year and the experience he gains for the rest of the season will pay off greatly for the future.
