#110 overall
To the Pirates. You missed it because his real first name is William.

Lars Anderson
Also unselected... Is this a Smoak type situation?
(After pitcher tells GM he will pitch half of the games, complete them and they will all be QS)The GM has an orgasm and a heart attack at the same time.-Shamus

I would
have voted for that if it were an option
"Second guessers are guys that could have never gotten it right the first time." - Tommy Lasorda (for guys that have no other defense for their actions.)

agreed
except I would also entitle the entry "THE STUPIDEST FRIGGIN' PICK" in the entire first round.  Another gem by Hendry and his scouting department.  I am convinced that the scout for the Cubs in the South has nudie pictures of Hendry.  Montanez, Dopirak, Harvey, etc. from FLA all get selcted early and can't play.

re
I would like to see the Yanks pick Jared Mitchell, much like they did with Austin Jackson.

They have the money to take a risk and Mitchell is 1st round talent.

Betances...
BA makes it sound like everyone including Don King are running the Betances' show...

Drabek, not enough for its own post, but....
MLB.com listed him as a shortstop, but pre-draft everyone was talking about him as a pitcher, which made me think Philly must've picked him as a shortstop?  It doesn't really make sense for Philly to keep him at shortstop given their need for pitching (even if he's years away), so I'm assuming MLB.com is wrong.  Can anyone clarify this for me?

LaPorta
Taken in the 14th round.

What the hell happened there? Did he tear his biceps muscle?

The Dayton Moore Era
Is off to a questionable start. Of course he's got plausible denyability of any of the picks don't pan out.

Ohh, I was, umm, still with the Braves.

His idea of picking Stubbs was laughable. Braves tool-sniffer till the end.
