locke
i personally think that his scouting by the braves and red sox has made his stock soar and that his talent really lies in the second and third rounds at best, not even in the supplemental first. when would you plan on taking him?

A's have no round 1
So Locke was a 66th pick target.

You not high on him?

Lock or Belt
I definitely think you should be targeting one of them first, with Locke being higher. Also, you know about my love for Milton Loo.

Also look for LHP Chad Rogers in the third round. He's a high schooler out of Ohio.

I have some powdered water
but I don't know what to add.

Cory Rasmus would be a great 2nd round pick, in my opinion.

i don't think its name...
he is a pretty damn good player. i know he can hit 97 mph as a pitcher, but a future as a hitter may be more likely.

i apologize
locke would be a great pick at 66. i was under the impression the A's had a 1st rounder or a supplemental 1st. i am high on him in the right round i suppose. although i don't know if he'll fall to you that low.

i admit i'm pretty stoked
The A's didn't sign their draft and follow Matt Keough right? We should probably redraft him later.

Locke went frickin early!

We had a year to sign him and we failed
Shane is good and all but see no reason to redraft him.

More players to take:
Aside from Chad Rogers, also look at Brad Mills, if you want a college pitcher. He's only 5'11 180, but he's pretty much a left handed Jason Windsor (average fastball that can touch 92, killer changeup, loopy curveball/slider).

Still like Rogers the best though.

More players
LHP Glenn Gibson is a good player to take with our last pick. Brett Bigler is also a good pick, he's a speedy college CF with great on base skills. Question is if he will hit with enough power. I say take him, the A's could use him in the system.

also
there is a good LHP/OF i like, Scott Cousins. Compared to Mark Kotsay, and some scouts think even better.

I am a fan of Cousins
I live about 8 blocks from USF so have seen him a handful of times.
NOt sure he deserves round 5 love but if things get tight I would gladly draft him.
