Where are the top 5?
1-KC Liniecum Unsigned.
2-COL Reynolds Location:?
3-TB- Longoria Location: Hudson Valley (SS A) Statistics : .424/.474 4 HR's 11 RBI.
4- Pitt- Lincoln Location:??
5- Sea Morrow- Location: AZL Mariners. Statistics:None yet
My question is right after the draft the Pirates were talking of fast-tracking Lincoln. I do not know the tracks of the other players. Where are your team's draft picks and how are they doing.
My team is the Cubs and Colvin just signed a couple of days ago and will probably end up at SS Boise. Samajdzia is also at SS Boise. He signed a 200,000 bonus which basically means the Cubs ar eletting him go to play football.

"Scaming local boys and girls club"
Lincoln signed...
First-round draft pick Brad Lincoln is scheduled to make his professional debut July 8. It hasn't been determined whether Lincoln will remain in Bradenton, Fla., and pitch for the Gulf Coast League Pirates or head to Single-A Hickory for his start. Lincoln will be on a 50-60 pitch limit. Lincoln threw his first bullpen session Monday since he signed his contract last week. He will pitch his first batting practice this Monday.
Thank you..
um no
Go read the full story somewhere. He can earn up to 7 million dollars outof this. I have no idea what you saw, it couldn't be farther from the truth

There was NO deal
Actually
http://www.baseballamerica.com/today/draft/news/261750.html
"Samardzija would receive $7.25 million if he makes baseball his primary sport. The Cubs have five years to pay Samardzija's bonus under baseball's rules regarding two-sport players. The deal is backloaded, with Samardzija receiving less than $1 million in the first year of the deal, according to sources with knowledge of the contract."
Later reports
now im curious
And BTW you don't have to sign a kid to a long term 40man contract to backload his bonus like they Cubs did. you can do it w minor league contract bonuses too.
I've seen ESPN, BA, AP, and major papers in Chi and elsewhere print that the deal could earn him up to 7.25 mil. There were even quotes from Samar that made it seem like that that was the deal he signed and now he was going to go play.
I HAVEN'T seen any of those places retract or correct those stories and i havn't seen any stories printed saying it was 200k straght up, no more money later.
Hell, 200k is BELOW slot for the the 5th round..not above.
