How bad are the Braves?

From a lifelong Braves fan, this is about as bad as it's ever been. (It's not worse than the 80's, but it's not better either.) Though the bullpen has been the major story--15 blown saves and counting--basically every part of the team has been below league-average, let alone disappointing for a defending division champion. Terrible defense, middling offense, thin starting rotation, and a ten-game losing streak that shows no signs of ending soon. How many wins can the Braves salvage from this lost season?

They took down the Braves website...

apparently its because the Braves can't put three W's in a row..... OH!

A little girl was in Family Court and the judge asked her if she wanted to live with her father. She told the judge, "No." So the judge asked why not. She stated it wa cause her father beats her.

The judge then replied, "So you want to live with your mother then." Again the little girl said that she would not. The judge asked her who she did want to live with then.

"The Atlanta Braves," She replies.

"Why the Atlanta Braves?" The judge asks.

"Because they dont beat anybody." the girl says.

funny..

nice jokes. had heard the little girl one before, with a different team, but the internet site is a new one for me.

On to more serious things.... a team is never as bad as they look during a losing streak, nor as good as they look during a winning streak.

The opposite from the Braves is the Twins. They have won 1 in a row, but something like 11 of 13. Right now, they look like a playoff caliber team, with the pithcing and such. However, they are not as good as they look now.

The end of it is, that the Braves will rebound a little. Will they rebound enough to contend for the playoffs? hard to be positive about that right now. But, I would bet they get out of last place..

dont worry

cultivating diaz for this year's "who wants to be a sucker" sweepstakes..

previous winners (florida - greene, oakland -thomas).

thats when they give playing time to a player so that it seems he's out there everyday (but he's really only out there when the conditions have been evalualed to make him look as good as possible)

should be able to solve their problems with the stuff taken from this year's winner.
