Is John Koronka for real?

As a Ranger fan earlier this year I was depressed that the Rangers traded the immensely talented but headcase, Juan Dominguez for Koronka and Rheinecker. However that was mainly because I thought John Koronka was a complete scrub that had no real shot at sticking in the majors, and Rheinecker was just a bust of a prospect.

Fortunately so far Koronka has far surpassed my expectations. Maybe it's just because I'm a Ranger fan and I'm not used to seeing good pitchers, but he has looked like the next Doug Davis to me.

I had never even heard about him until the trade, so I was just wondering what's the chances of him maintaining his current production or at least continue to pitch well to be a good 3rd or 4th starter for Texas?

he's not. But it is really nice to have him help the staff through a difficult stretch to hopefully when Volquez is ready.
