Humberto Sanchez

Where is Detroit finding all of these flame throwers? Last it was Jordan Tata tearing up HiA ball, Justin Verlander leading A and AA in strikeouts and Joel Zumaya leading AA and AAA in strikeouts.

Now Detroit's got 6'6" Humberto Sanchez (at AA Erie) who is all of he sudden leading the minor leagues in strikeouts with 41 K's in 30 innings.

He's also 2-1 with a 1.50 ERA with 10 BB's. What exactly is this kid's potential? Is he anything like Zumaya and Verlander?

How are the Tigers producing all of these power arms? Oh yeah and they're also in possession of the AAA leader in strikeouts this year as well...Wilfredo Ledezma.

Sanchez
He throws a mid 90's heater with an inconsistent but good curve and a decent change up.

I think his potential is a solid mid rotation starter...  He also could end up in the bullpen though.
