Giants: Richardson & Sanders
A few questions about some speedy Giants prospects who are both off to cold starts. Marcus Sanders who was bumped up to A+ San Jose this year is hitting about .150 and Antoan Richardson in A- Augusta is hitting about the same. Both have wheels and are at least fairly well regarded. The question is will they turn it around, or are they overmatched? Another question, where did the Giants pick up Richardson? On thebaseballcube.com it says he was drafted by the diamonbacks in 04' but the only record of any professional career came in 05' in the Giants organization.
Thanks,
Keenlow

Antoan Richardson
As for Sanders, generally hitters who hit well in the Sally Leaugue do OK when they move up to the Cal League. Not sure why he's off to such a slow start. Maybe after the slow start, he's pressing. Sometimes all it takes is one good game to get on track. His 0'fers game after game certainly make him look overmatched right now.
Ben Copeland is another big disappointment in the early going at Augusta. He got two hits last night, so maybe he's warming up.
