Yahoo! Dynasty League! John's invited, and so is everyone here!

I've started a Yahoo! custom league that's intended to be a dynasty league. The current keeper limit is ten, but it's subject to change. The draft is this Sunday at 5pm Pacific, and while we have to use Yahoo! player listings, everyone who gets called up from the minors is fair game.

If you'd like to join up, the League name is Dynasty, and the password is dynasty. Please check the settings before joining, as it's a 7x7 league.

Here are some of the guidelines (I put these in the commissioner's note as well):

  1. This is a dynasty league, which means that it's meant to last for a long time - as long as there are active users, the league will continue.
  2. The draft is thirty rounds long. I suggest pre-ranking at least some of your guys so you aren't just throwing darts by the last ten rounds.
  3. Because this is a dynasty league, you get to keep ten of your thirty players at the end of the season. Draft with this in mind! After all, you won't just be at this for one year.
  4. This is a 7x7 league. If I feel like a category should be added, or should be taken away, I'll ask league members before doing so. This goes for the keeper limit as well - if a majority of managers in the league feel like we should keep more guys, I'll change it. I don't feel like going less than ten because that's only a third of your roster - and there are solid guys to be found in every round, regardless of who gets kept.
  5. In order to participate in this league, you have to PARTICIPATE! Don't check out if your draft didn't go as well as you planned, because this won't be the only time you draft for this team - and there's a long season ahead to improve.
  6. Everyone is welcome here. I don't care how old you are, whether you're a guy or a girl, etc. However, since we're going to be in this for a while, I'd appreciate it if people behaved civilly towards one another.
  7. If you find yourself needing to check out during the season, tell me first, and either find a replacement manager or give me time to find one myself.
  8. The waiver time is only one day, so stay on your toes. Also, there's no inning limit.
If any of you would like to join, you're exactly the type of baseball fans I'm looking for. There's only ten spots left, but if any of you want in (particularly John, just because it would be amazing to compete against you), please sign up.

ID #?
I tried signing up, but they need the league ID# and NOT the league name.  Please supply the league ID #.

Thanks.

Trade Review: Commissioner
Could you change this to have the league vote on trades, please??
It would be more fair that way.

Other then that, it looks good!

I signed up earlier
I was wondering how many teams are allowed in the league.  Last time I looked there were 10 teams so far.  If it's big league (16+ teams) you might want to move the draft back to at least Sunday.  Just a thought.

Check the message board
I answered both questions there (and changed to League Votes), and I'm glad to see both of you joined! The league's full now, so thanks to everyone here - I hope it's a good season!
