Victor Diaz and Jeff Francouer
Will Victor Diaz be any good in 2006? Trade rumors abound, and he's a bit of a head case, gifted hitter but also a New York Met, a team that just seems to breed underperformance.
Will he hit? If he hits, will he outhit Jeff Francouer, who's squeaky clean, but still has pretty vast holes in his swing at this point?

That said, I think Diaz can play well in New York and he can fill his role.

if he can get out of slumps
he got worse as the year went on and the scouting report on him got around the league. i think that he was rushed to the majors, and he will struggle this year. so, i will say that diaz has the better numbers.
i expect diaz to put up .275/.325/.460
i expect francouer to put up .270/.320/.440

A band-box wouldn't fly with the fans, who actually realize that a park can be a positive in terms of pitching and attracting pitching. It's about as likely as the new facility having a corporate name...
