Thats the thought right now.  They are waiting till after the 06' season and then they will rid themselves of these two teams.  

This is so sad, I'm a twins fan, and it makes me ill to know our owner do this and also to know it's now very possible, (players association) has no say about the matter, they signed some deal with the owners.  

Twins drew over 2 million fans last year, have had a winning team for the past 4-5 years, great minor league system and loyal fan base.  

Twins and the marlins have won 4 WS titles over the past 20 years.

I'm a twins fanatic, attend games, go to minor league games even, follow the whole organization.  This looks to be a sad ending.  If they leave, I'm done with baseball for good, I couldn't stomache watching another franchise, just wouldn't be the same.

Thanks to terrible politicians here, a wicked owner, and other factors looks like I'll have to just stick to the NFL and NHL.
