Buchholz
Has Clay Buchholz gotten a shot on the list?  He seems to be a bit under the radar but I seem to be seeing blurbs on him everywhere right now.

Too hard
I don't have enough of an opinion on these guys to feel good about the wild-guess vote that I just made.
The beginning of the poll was easier.

Other...
... Guzman.

He's been getting at least a couple "others" each round for the last couple. Whereas Lofgren got no support, Slowey got one, and Clement got none.

Now he will only get one more chance to get voted on (at most).

Guzman
I haven't put Guzman on because the last two times he was on, he got almost no support.

I know there is a group out there that "still keeps the faith" but I don't think it is good enough to give him a real chance to hang with the current group of players.

I was planning on trying him again in about 5 spots...Brickhaus may have a different idea...

If I remember correctly
Guzman has gotten more support than Lofgren (who you continue to put on) ever has.

Other vote for Guzman

He was last on one at....
8 lists ago (#41, though anyone who can do math could figure that out I guess) and he got the second most support out of those not on the list already (snider who had just gotten the boost from having been highly rated in John's ranking was the only one ahead of him)

He then received "other" votes on almost every poll since thing, and multiple each time.

Im not saying he definately would have been on by now, but I certainly think he would have had a good chance.

Im not really upset as I know that the rankings in this range will vary greatly from person to person, I just think he should get another shot soon.

I'll just keep voting for him till then.

I'll....
keep voting him via posting till then.

When he's on the list I will still keep voting until he makes the list.

Just clarifying

Re: Guzman
OK, I guess my memory is faulty then.  Will try him again soon.

Other
Sweeney.  I may vote for him until he gets on.

Sweeney
I've been voting for him for 2 weeks now.
"...look for low and away...but watch out for in your ear."

Same here
I voted for Snider just to get him off the board.  He deserves top 50 (if not top 30-35 status IMO).  After that, I'm back on Sweeney.  I'm surprised so many are missing the boat on this guy - particularly on this site.

by slurve on Dec 21, 2006 4:03 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

No kidding
I've been a believer in him since he was first drafted...not a stud by any means but top-50.

by avehoward on Dec 21, 2006 6:01 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Sweeney
I've pretty much given up voting for him.  In my mind, Sweeney has been my vote for a while.  With all these close votes, I've been putting my vote elsewhere.  Unfortunately, Sweeney will be lucky to make the top 60.

Over a year removed from wrist surgery, he's going to surprise a lot of people when he tears up the International League this year.

Won't surprise
me one iota.  He is one I'm going to make sure I get a little "I told ya so" on this site this coming summer.

I can throw my support behind Sweeney...
I think he should go in this range, and was ready to vote for him after Stewart came off the board.

Chris Lubanski
worth a flyer. Went with Morales though here.

by doublestix on Dec 21, 2006 5:48 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

Yikes
This will be a photo finish

¤ Billy Rowell 15%
¤ Franklin Morales 13%
¤ Travis Snider 14%
¤ Humberto Sanchez 14%

I'd like to see Sweeney get on again, I'd vote for him.

Andrus
If this is really a long term top 100, we probably should be listing this guy around now...he's 17 and he stayed above water in the Sally as a SS.
