Ad Question for John

Does clicking on the ads add to your revenue?  Or do you only receive money if the click results in a purchase of some sort?  Also, is there a limit to the number of clicks that can generate revenue/day?  I love this site and can't afford the newsletter yet, but would love to be able to contribute something financially to you and clicking seems rather simple.

Is that really relevant?
I didn't read that whole thing word for word, but essentially, I think he was asking if they were pay-per-click ads that John receives anything from.  I've seen in many cases where the ads are forced by the host not necessarily in the control of the person who is having their site hosted, and in that case, John probably wouldn't profit from them.

Basically I want to know if I click once a day on an ad, would it help John?

ads
I don't make money on the new top banner ad. I only make money on the side ads. I don't get paid per click, but the more people who click the ads, the happier the advertisers are, and the more willing they are to come back with more ads later.

Revenue
I hope you don't have to do the 50% revenue sharing that other sites on the Sports Blog network have to (unless you own a piece of Sports Blog.) I'm sure your site is one of, if not the biggest draw on this network.
