Around SBN: Explaining Jeremy Lin's Early, Surprising Success

Spy vs Spy

I'm in this spy league and I need to know what to do!  There is this one spy, he dresses in all white, but there is this OTHER spy and he dresses all in black!!!

HELP!  Which spy should I choose?!?!  It's a 24 spy keeper holdover round-robin head-to-head minor spy league with spies!

Gotta remember to think devious
The one who looks to be winning early will always lose.

So in other words
you need to bet on the spy with the better long relief and clutch hitting.

I heard
The spy dressed in white prefers Hughes while the spy dressed in black prefers Bailey.

Not that this should affect the voting, of course . . .

I spy....
you ignorant fool, how could anyone with minimal intelligence not be aware of the overwhelmingly obvious answer to this question?

this is a fake
The real Alfred E. would have called him, not an "ignorant fool," but a "clod."
and boom goes the dynamite.

How tall
How tall is each spy?

The taller one may be the one who has a better spy future. More leverage with height, though you need to be aware of the inevitable spy injuries that can shorten any spy's career.

You forgot to bore us with how many owners are in this league and other details that I typically ignore.

I won't get married until the Red Sox win the World Series. AGAIN!!

And in fact our 24-person dynasty spy league has an opening right now, anyone want to join?

"do a google"
Sounds like something Borat would say.

what do you make of the fact.....
.....that the spy in black has what appears to be a statistically significant lead?

I'd say the jury has spoken on this issue.

Well
Any real spy league owner will only lead us to think that he is choosing between the white spy and the black spy, but end up choosing the grey spy at a lower cap cost.

Billy Beane
knew that white typically won and everyone drafted white spies so in the spirit of spy-ball he drafted college tested black spies. But once everyone heard of his success and the famous spy-ball book on spying he reverted to drafting high-school talent and mostly white spies while the competition all fought over the college talent. Although he had this success his biggest failure was the ultra-spy Daric double-agent Barton whom had all the talent but none of the natural luck of an agent 'a la' Maxwell Smart.
