There has been a lot of guys going at each other around here about being too much of a homer. If anything this place has much less than any nationaly visited site I have been to. I think that some good ribbing is always good, but the mood has gotten a little somber around here. I think people around here should focus that energy outward.
I found this on another NATIONAL site. NOT a TEAM or REGONAL site. Because that would not be fair.
"Why does nobody give the Reds a chance at all? Has everybody forgotten that they lead the League in Home Runs, Triples and Doubles last year...If they could just get a little pitching, they would be a force to be reckoned with...They are under new ownership this year, a man who built a little team called the St. Louis Cardinals, and have more pitching prospects than we know what to deal with. All we need is a decent season out of Eric Milton, who is still young and has won 15 games before, and a good trade for Austin Kearns and we will be right in the thick of things again. Look for them to easily be ahead of the Pirates (Jason Bay sucks, remember the Home Run Derby?) and the Brewers are average (How long will it take for Ben Sheets to get those 20 wins)."
I thought this was hilarious specifically how Bay sucks and they have so many prospects. I think it would be nicer to make fun of others considering I believe that almost all people that post here have an extensive knowledge and passion for baseball and they are really not trying to hurt each others feelings.
I thought it would be funny to post some of these in the comments if you can find them. Please leave out the persons name and use judgement.
If you think this is stupid just say so or if John does not like it he can delete it. I think it is fun to lighten the mood and do something that I think is fun every once in a while.
