Follow-up: Daric Barton vs. Andy Marte
This one should be very interesting considering it's Boston vs. Oakland, clearly the two most represented factions on this site.
For me, I'd rather have Marte, but this is another close one. Again, it's defensive value and more power that put him ahead in my book. However, the jury is definitely out on Marte, so this one should be very close.

Marte pretty easily
Barton has more discipline, Marte more power, but Marte does it while playing good defense at a skill position

Marte
Also, he plays third base and he does it well. Additionally, he put up a killer line in AAA as a 21-year old

re
Marte may be hurt AVG wise by his home parks, but those dont influence that high K rate much.
Even if Marte has a IsoP of .250, his avg/obp will probably be something like .260/.350 giving him a .860 OPS.
Barton will only have to post an IsoP of .150 to hit an .860 OPS if he hits .300/.410
And I think Barton has a better chance to get his IsoP well over .150 than Marte does to get his OBP much over .350

slight adjustment
Why do you give Barton a .110 IsoOBP and Marte a .090 IsoOBP?
Giving Marte the same 110 difference gives him a base 880 OPS and requires a 170 IsoP from Barton, which narrows things a great deal.
