David Wright
How good is this guy? I'm really amazed at his production. He seems to do it all.
.302/.384/.513 30 2B's 17 HR's and 12 SB's.
WOW! Last year he had a weak BB/K ratio (14/40) and now he's improved that to (50/76).
His D will only improve, but he makes some sick plays already. That Kevin Mitchell-esque play on Tuesday night shows how instinctive and athletic this guy is.
What's the ceiling?

Ceiling
The week bb/k ratio last year was out of line with his minor league history. Now that he's comfortably settled in the majors his numbers have all fallen in line with what was projected based on minors. If he stays healthy he can be a great one.

Whoa
He went No. 1 overall in our Strat draft. I took Greinke at No. 3. Mauer was 2 and Kazmir somehow lasted until 18.
Wright was absolutely the first player on my draft board, and would have been even if I weren't a Mets fan.

no idiots
So I came away with those 4 and then Casey Kotchman at #7 after Dallas McPherson went #6.
We are in a keeper league and the only draft eligible players are those have made their MLB debut that year or are not currently on a 40-man roster.

this might not make sense, but..

Last year was a pretty good indication of that
I took him a while ago as a minor league keeper and he has not been on the bench since his call-up last year! I think they call players like this 5 tool.

Comps
Wright strikes out much less already, he looks like he has comparable power (playing in Shea doesn't really help, even though he's hit better at home), and his defense will improve.
Best of all? No health issues so far.
As a Met fan, Wright was the one bright spot last year. Him and that bizzare series against the Cubs late in the year. I could almost (almost...) forgive them for the Kazmir move.

Wright on.
Also, why can't my fellow Met fans just let the Kazmir trade go? Sure we could have gotten more for the young phenom, but what's done is done. That's like looking back and bemoaning when the team gave up on Izzy (for 1.5 months of Billy Taylor, woohoo), or the glorious Kent-Baerga trade. Bad trades happen to all clubs, you just have to change GMs and move on...
Perhaps this would make a good diary/article. Is there statistical evidence to show which team has been the most mismanaged, in terms of trades, over the past 10 years?
