Around SBN: Explaining Jeremy Lin's Early, Surprising Success

everts

has anyone seen clint everts pitch this year? its seems like he has come back from tommy john surgery really fast. didnt he have surgery last september? i wonder if his fastball has come all the way back.  Also has his sharp breaking ball and good changeup comeback?  He is still young and pitched pretty well all last yr with a torn ligament, i wonder if he is back on his way to being a top prospect.
thanks in advance.

Wow...
he's back already? That kicks so much ass.

There was a point I liked (and actually I still do) Everts more than Kazmir. A guy with 3 plus pitches, great command, and with alot of projectability left.

If he's back, hopefully they aren't being stupid and rushing him. Hopefully he really is back.

Everts
Recently vacationing in Florida this past week, had a chance to catch a game over at the Nats Spring training facility - GCL Nats vs Mets. Wed 7/6/05 Clint Everts started off the game with an outstanding outing, you would never thought he had TJ last year. His curve just fell off the table striking out three. Showed his plus plus changeup (6) all for strikes. The jugs showed 88 a couple of times (velocity on its way back)- 3 2 0 0 1 3, he was just dominating these guys, this kid should be in Potomac (High A) soon.
