Willingham frustrations
What more does this guy have to do (offensively) in AAA (.340/.474/.747)??? While it's true his defense lacks, one would think that he could spot start for LoDuca or Encarnacion from time to time.
For a team ranked 26th in HR's and 22nd in runs scored, I'm just confused with the Florida brass right now.
I know we've discussed before, but what are your thoughts on why he hasn't received the call yet?

Where To Play Him?
He'd be an upgrade on the bench over Conine, but who wouldn't be? And calling him up for bench duty isn't going to help his trade value.
If I had to guess, I'd say he ends up in Seattle for Guardado, or maybe Tampa for Baez...

Let's write the GM
The Albuerque park factor was 1115 last year. If you just divide his rate stats by 1.115 you get:
.305/.425/.668. Still very worthy of a callup.
Here are my best guesses at his address/email. Maybe we need a "Bucky Backers" type group. We can even include Jonny Gomes too.

Yeah but...
In any case, using your method, 1.065 x 1.115 = 1.187, that leads to .286/.399/.629. Still very good, but it's a huge context adjustment. The Isotopes' home park makes Coors Field look like Chavez Ravine...

Rickie Weeks

Weeks needs time and....
The other thing with teams is chemistry and I have said this on a previous Willingham thread - the Marlins started struggling right around the time that LoDuca had to miss 3-4 starts because he got dinged up. While he does not post the power numbers that Willingham does - he throws out over 30% of his runners which is about 3X's Willinghams rate. In addition - the pitching staff had been dealing some fierce stuff.
All that said - the Marlins are 2-8 in their last 10 and LoDuca missed at least 4 of those games. If having him back in the line-up does not turn things around - McKeon may opt to shake things up. Until Willingham improves his defense - the best he can hope to be is Matt LeCroy playing 5 games at C, 5 at 1B and 10 at DH which leaves him which can diminish his confidence and trade value. In addition - if he struggles hitting while not being in a catching role - then this guy will be done.
If the Marlins find themselves out of the playoff hunt - LoDuca may end up with team in the hunt looking for help and Willingham will take over. Until then - Willingham will need to continue mashing in the minors.
