Second Round Thoughts
Second round is much less predictable than the first. Lots of guys (Bianchi, DeJesus, Travis Wood, Reimold) expected to go in the third or fourth got slotted here instead. Expect to see more and more of this, as the draft progresses opinions between the organizations will diverge more and more.
I have a migraine building up here but will knock it down with some medicine.

Try a couple of shots of bourbon, JS. Works for me.

Rangers Pick
Seems awfully early. Comparable pick to K.C. Herren last year maybe?

Seems like a lot of overdrafts...

I love that pick
No it doesn't, but I'm not as upset anymore.

The Boras effect
And now Teagarden gets taken in Round 3. If I'm Mr. Teagarden or Mr. Hochevar, I'm not very pleased as my sons have missed out on $500,000 to $1,000,000 in draft bonus money.
Did anyone hear the Cubs have already announced the signing of Pawalek? Stockstill and crew did their homework as he fell a little because of singability concerns.
