I just read on minorleaguebaseball.com that David Aardsma was sent down to AA Norwich to move into the starting rotation. Are the Giants thinking about converting him into a starter or is the move simply to give him more innings after converting Kevin Corriea into the closer in AAA Fresno?

Being a college world series champion closer for Rice U. I would have thought it would be a no brainer to use him as a closer in the majors, needless to say this move seems very interesting to me.
