Looking for thoughts on Dave Bush

I'm getting down to the end of my fantasy draft and I'm looking for a potential keeper pitcher.  The usual minor league suspects are already on people's teams and most of the young major league pitchers are gone too.  I've only recently started keeping up with minor league evaluations and rankings.  Looking at Bush's Minor League stats, he had great H, BB, and K per 9 IP rates up until AAA and they were still pretty good there.  His walk rate was up a little and his k rate was down a little once he got called up but his hit rate was still pretty good and his ERA was good.  In the little reading I've done about him, it sounds like he has a lot of room to get better considering he wasn't a pitcher when he went to college and wasn't a starter when he started in the minors.  Looking for thoughts on his ceiling from those that have been following his career or that know a little more than I.

Bush
I've seen him pitch almost every game last year and was very impressed. He has a real knack for keeping the ball down in the zone and his offspeed pitches are developing nicely. He keeps the ball in play and the only times he got knocked around were with suspect defence or when the balls started to find holes.

The only thing I would have against him is I don't see a real out pitch. But he may not need it to be a solid groundball pitcher.

A young pitcher with poise and keeps the ball down, never blamed the defence on plays. I guess I really like him.

Bush
I drafted David Bush after I heard his college coach describe him, as a person and player. He said that David Bush has a "plus plus makeup" (person) and was a savior to their pitching staff (player). So, it sounds like Toronto has a class act with David Bush. I think his numbers will only get better.

Bush
I rated him a 7.0 going forward, after the 2004 season. That's probably the equivalent of a B on John's scale. (I give out A+...LOL)

He certainly is a good keeper, depending on what type of fantasy league you are in. For your standard roto 5x5 league, there are a lot worse pitchers for THIS year that will be drafted ahead of Bush. I rated him 70th amongst pitchers, ahead of Radke, Lilly, Sabathia, Penny, Kazmir, Wells, D. Weaver, Willis, Washburn, Escobar, Zach in KC, Milton, Brown K., Lowe D....well, you get the idea.

My projections were probably a little aggresive. 200 IP, 4.00 ERA, 1.200 WHIP, 12 Wins, 130 K. The 14 pitchers above Bush and 22 below are within $3. But he should be a solid and underrated producer. If he's there at the end, grab him. Not just for the future, but for this year.

Thanks for the thoughts everybody
It's all for naught though as the other stat head in our league just took him 3 picks before I was going to take him.
