you have to respect the Braves for the insane run
but when it comes to lineup, SP depth, and bullpen, the Cards have them dead to rights.

I don't see any real area where the Braves are better than the Cards. Sure, there are individual spots (Andruw over Edmonds, Bobby Cox over LaRussa), but they seem minimal, at best...

My apostacy aside,
why have us pollsters not included the Padres and D-Backs as potentials in the NL West?  The Dodgers?  Well, I hate them, but that's another story.  Do readers here really think that they're THAT good?  I sure don't.

Why are these two teams playing?
I know ATL and NYM can't play each other, but wouldn't the Cardinals have the best record and therefore be playing the wild-card team, the Mets?

Because
The Dodgers won by the highest margin in our poll last week (57%).

He can't spell,
makes non-sensical statements, and follows it up with tripe...

So yes, he does work for ESPN.

Padres got hosed!
There is no way on God's green earth that both the geriatric-Giants & Dodgers will finish ahead of the Padres this year.

Sickles site is frequented by a lot of stat-heads yet you all can't see that the Padres have improved while Giants have only gotten older and Dodgers still have serious issues...

I WON'T say the Padres will WIN the West, but they'll be in the thick of it...
