Sikorski

I noticed that the San Diego Padres just signed Brian Sikorski.  Anyone have any info on how he has done in Japan over the last five years?

I remember he was with Texas in 2000 and was pretty bad.  Anyone have any info on his prospect status in 2000?

What I'm basically looking for is his WHIP, K/9, BB/9 for his career in Japan and each season in Japan.  Any other stats will also help.

Is this guy going to stick in the pen and replace Otsuka, or flop and be a mop up man?

Workhorse
Sikorski became a workhorse reliever in Japan, basically pitching in half his teams' games and putting up decent numbers.  Yomuiri dropped him because they decided to purge their roster of foreigners.  I wouldn't be shocked if Tuffy Rhodes lands somewhere stateside as well.

Just checked the site...
And I noticed that there is a link to post player biographies there. I was wondering if anyone knows if they verify the information submitted, or if I just found a new hobby.

"Born Johhny Wahd, Brian first gained national attention as the first test tube baby born in America. Brian Sikorski changed his name at the age of 18 when he became the star pitcher for the UNC women's softball team that finished last place in five of the four years he pitched there. He walked-on....."

I could really have a lot of fun making up bios over there. My work will suffer greatly :(

PS - GO SEAHAWKS!

speaking of bios
I wonder if he is related to Igor Sikorsky, inventory of the helicopter?

It should be noted that Sikorsky himself immigrated to the US following the Russian Revolution.  So unless Brian is a distant relative who's family came to the US under difference circumstances, there isnt much reason for the spelling difference.
