Holiday Open Thread

The next few days will be devoted to family and working on the book, so I will make this an open thread for various baseball discussions. I will pop in a few times a day just to check in, and I think I will post a Christmas Present for you guys tomorrow night. Newsletter subscribers will also receive a large email tomorrow filled with book excerpts.

Take a deep breath. Spend time with your families. No matter your religious or spiritual beliefs, the holiday season should be a time of reflection, celebration, and thanks.

blessings of the season to you
I got nothing to say about baseball, just wanted to second that and wish you all Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, and a better 2006 than your 2005, even if your 2005 was pretty good.  :)

Happy Holidays!
To everybody. Hopefully everybody has a great Christmas and New Years. May the true meaning of the holiday season, family, bring you great joy.

Right on
Have a great holiday season.

I know I'm opening up a can of worms here (long posts by you know who), but since the Cleveland Indians have done basically nothing this offseason, is that enough to win the division this year?
Will the "stand pat" strategy work?

OK
I promised not to do this again, but I see this is going to turn into a greeting card thread otherwise. I wish you all the happiest of holidays, of course. But my real gift to you is the best, deepest, new dynasty league out there, with a maximum 40-prospects per team message board draft starting in the first half of January: http://www.nqrbl.net/ Just need a few more experts.
