I didn't understand that at all
And the only way you come out ahead money-wise is if you're the league champion, and the only other person getting their money back is the other team in the championship series. It seems like a rip-off.

145 games
on sunday each teams cumalitvie score is compared.
for example. say you are playing in league, the standings would work like this.
TEAM pts scored this week Record this week
teamA 300 pts 7-0
teamB 290 pts 6-1
teamC 280 pts 5-2
teamD 270 pts 4-3
teamE 260 pts 3-4
teamF 250 pts 2-5
teamG 240 pts 1-6
teamH 230 pts 0-7
as for being a rip off, that is not what we are about. stats, internet fees, programming, etc all cost money. These leagues will be ultra competitve(very different from a local yahoo or espn league) so there is a lot of entertainment value. 150$ for a year of entertainment hardly seems excessive. again sorry it seems that way to you.
Thanks
As for the money, I haven't looked around at what else is available but $850/$2400 just seems low. I shouldn't have used the words "rip-off," because that is too strong. I understand that there are costs to run the league and there is entertainment value. It just seems like a 35% payout is low, but I haven't looked around, maybe it's not.

payouts
the payouts are not 35% though. they are roughly 50% depending on the price of the league championship plaque.
$150 cost per team
SFFS League Champ - $500 + plaque
SFFS League Runner-up - $150
SFFS Division Winner - $75(4 division winners)
SFFS Playoff Wildcard - $25(4 wildcard teams)
Top Overall Total Points Per Season - $50
Top Overall Hitting Points Per Season - $25
Top Overall Pitching Points Per Season - $25
we pay out roughly 1200 and input is 2400. so dont know where 35% came from.
Damn
